Granny’s Apple Pie

To one Pillsbury uncooked pie crust, add:
5      Tart or sour apples thinly sliced
1      Cup Sugar
1      Tsp. Cinnamon
1      Tsp. Nutmeg
Dash of Salt
1/2   Stick Butter sliced over pie
1/2   Cup Milk mixed with 1 TBSP Cornstarch
Pour over apples

Take second uncooked pie crust and cut into strips. Place over pie in lattice work. Cut ends off and flute edges with thumb.

Bake in 425 degree oven for 40-50 minutes, or until crust is brown and juice begins to bubble through top.
